This weekend we ended up making
a simple dinner,
so we could relax after working
in the garden all day.
I found this new French Brie at Costco.
Trader Joe's has a great variety
of different fresh breads.
Some fresh apricots, dates, brie, asiago pressato, olives, cashews, Italian salami wrapped around breadsticks.
I love Ina Garten's Fruit Crostata, the recipe is in her "Barefoot Contessa at Home" cookbook.
It's a simple recipe just right for not
spending a lot of time in the kitchen.
It looks so pretty before cooking.
It's a perfect dessert for a holiday weekend!
What a delicious post !!...i have water in my mouth...hmmmmmm....why are we not neighbours.....???....xxx.....hahahahha!!
ReplyDeleteI love a simple fruit dessert like that Jody. I have that cookbook however I am more prone to read them than to actually use a recipe:}
ReplyDeleteLooks so very scrumptious. I bet it was very yummily aromatic too. To bad we don't have smelloblogging.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing at Tasty Tuesday! This looks delicious! We hope to see you again next week! ~Holley
