~Shutter Doors in the Garden~

We have shutter doors that we
use on the side of the garden.
Stan painted them and hung them up.
It's a great idea to hide whatever
you don't want to show.
Especially trash cans!

~Artichokes & Grapes~

We came back from our trip and discovered a surprise!
Our grapes were growing and looking so beautiful...
The artichokes are just right for harvesting.
Such a bright green color.
If you don't pick them,
their flower blooms,
so delicate...
If you look at a grape up close,
they're so perfectly round.
Beautiful Shapes

~Surprises Everywhere~

I love the blue lobelia near our statue.
It's such a vibrant color.
I decided to plant some flowers in our galvanized containers.
I love foxgloves and nasturtiums and thought they would look perfect.
Being patience paid off and the flowers are doing great in their new spot.

~The Baby Hummingbirds Leave Their Nest~

We have been so fortunate to have so many birds nest in our garden.
In the beginning they were so little.
It really is amazing how their nest is made of everything in nature. Just Beautiful...
Every week we watched them change.
The mother was busy back and forth feeding them until she couldn't fit on the nest anymore.
Stan and I knew the day they were going to leave. They both were moving toward the edge of their nest. Waiting until the magical moment.
As soon as the wind picked up, one left and then the other...
