Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup of butter
- 1/4 Cup of sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 Tbsp. of dried lavender (chopped finely)
- 1 1/2 Cups flour
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- Cream butter and sugar well in a mixer
- Beat the egg and blend into butter and sugar
- Add lavender to the flour
- Add both mixtures together a little at a time
- Cover and chill for 20 minutes
- Roll out batter on floured surface to 1/8 inch thickness
- Cut with cookie cutter & sprinkle with sugar
- Bake for 10-15 minutes on top-shelf
- Check for golden brown edges
- Cool thoroughly
