~Garden Finds~

I found a teapot and used it in a planter
to hold my jute and scissors. Very handy.
A thrift store basket with dried
flowers welcomes you into the garden.
Some old shutters used as a tabletop.
Our potting table with old tiles added for accent.
A cup used for a pot as a centerpiece.
An old arch used to hold up a wreath.
A screen door found at a salvage store gives the garden some whimzy.
I used a pot upside down to hold a mosaic table.
Finding things to repurpose is a fun thing to do.

Our Edible Weeping Mulberry Tree

Our Edible Weeping Mulberry is just starting to produce berries.
Every year in Spring we look
forward to eating fresh berries.
As soon as we see new foliage
we know the fruit will come.

~This year we'll make lots of fresh salads with fresh fruit~

~Roses and Artichokes in the Rain~

The rain makes everything beautiful.
The artichokes are just starting to produce.
The leaves look like birds with their wings open.
Can't wait to have fresh
artichokes from the garden.
We have a lot of roses in beautiful colors.

The rain was just what the garden needed.
I love how open the Sally Holmes flowers are.
The Cecile Brunner has gorgeous clusters of pink.
New buds are just as beautiful.
Our latest photos of the baby hummingbirds!
So cute...
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed your gardens.

~Thyme For A New Project In The Garden~

Today was a beautiful day in the garden.
So, I decided to have some fun.
The view from our kitchen was so inviting...
The door was open and my
shoes were waiting for me.
All the plants have grown so much.
Everything seems to sparkle in the sun light.
I had bought a letter and moss.
Glue gun was ready.
Started to fill in the letter with the moss.
What a simple project.
Found the perfect spot.
 On top of an angel.
Hope you have a great weekend,
 enjoying your gardens!
I'll be at the sale at Summers Past Farms on Saturday. But, Sunday I'll be in the garden planting and playing in the dirt.

Fairy Garden Houses

I can never say no to another Fairy House.
The ceramic houses last forever and of course,
you have to have a fence.
The big cups you can find at Marshalls or Home Goods or even thrift stores.
Even a broken cup can be used, the fairies don't mind.
White Alyssum is a good plant to use.
Found this boot, in the Christmas
section at a thrift store.
Baskets are great containers.
This bird house I used to display another tea set.
Hope you enjoyed the tour.
I'll show you the other miniature
garden on the hill another thyme...

Everything is Growing in the Garden Including the Hummingbirds

The pumpkin seeds are coming up again.
The hummingbirds one week ago.
I took this photo today of the hummingbirds. They have grown so much.
I'm so lucky to be able to capture these moments.
I just wanted to share these pictures with you.
The Blue French Pumpkins are growing everyday.
The sunflowers planted on March 14th.
The giant pumpkins are getting bigger.
Can't wait to eat the butternut squash.
We'll have plenty of zucchini for lots of recipes.
It's still not to late to plant by seed. It's so fulfilling
to grow from your garden to your table.
